Mitali Chowdhury is a senior at Pacific Grove High School and a data analytics summer intern at the Naval Postgraduate School. In her research, she has used machine learning algorithms for multiple applications such as detecting anomalous aircraft flights and identifying mines in sonar images. Additionally, she has worked on developing machine learning algorithms for these datasets in Hadoop environments. Outside of data analytics, she is lead programmer of the BreakerBots, a FIRST Robotics Team, where she develops robot code and teaches programming to students of all ages.
