Data management, data engineering and data governance are all concepts we are familiar with. We often say how important they are to the success of projects, yet all too often, I still think they are underestimated and the cause of project failure. This presentation looks into what is meant by data management, data engineering and data governance, how they should be addressed across a wide range of projects from traditional data warehousing delivery to big data and machine learning projects. Finally, it looks at the available Oracle tools and services that can support these concepts and describes good practices, how getting started, and what you have to do to embed them into your delivery DNA.
